Leaving Flatland: Enlivening Earth and Soul with Jeanine Canty

November 7 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Leaving Flatland: Enlivening Earth and Soul

“This awakened heart of compassion is true nature. It is true nature that welcomes and tames our self-centered delusions, returning us to the reality of our deep connectedness to all beings in a living world.” – Gaylon Ferguson, Welcoming Beginner’s Mind

Join us for a day-long workshop with Jeanine Canty where we will move into a widening sense of self, inclusive of nature, creativity, spirit, and soul.

The mid-point of autumn at this crucial time in the story of humanity presents a liminal threshold, a time for reflection on our larger work within a sentient world, and our impermanence in that world.

Weaving together ideas from ecopsychology, depth psychology, and eastern philosophy, we will peer curiously into what no longer serves in our dominant paradigms and envision and enact ways of being that enliven our participatory consciousness with nature and soul.

Participants should be prepared to encounter difficult and joyful emotions, engage in experiential practices including movement, meditation, and imagination, and to be in respectful, compassionate community.
